Subaru EJ257 CAMSHAFTS

A series of low-volume versions with even greater power and grip were built by Subaru's in-house modifier, Subaru Tecnica International (STi). STi versions of the Impreza, which produced 280 PS (206 kW) from new, are often raced, largely unmodified, in the Group N class in various rally championships to great success. Introduced in 1994, the STi has proven to be a very popular high-performance machine in the Japanese domestic market. Introduced to the United States in 2004, the US model STi features the larger displacement 2.5L (EJ257) that features AVCS.

Subaru EJ257 EJ257 / EJ205 Adjustable Cam Gears

BC adjustable cam gears deliver the easiest way to dial in more horsepower and/or torque without getting underneath the valve cover, disassembling the engine or dealing with onboard electronics. BC gears are CNC machined from aerospace grade, 6061-T6 billet aluminum for ultimate tensile strength. Easy to read, laser etched face features micrometer style markings for precise adjustment (up to 10 degrees in each direction) and quick tunability. Each hub is held down by six ARP made, Grade-8 hex bolts for maximum clamping ability. Hard anodized finish prevents premature surface wear.
